we toured normandy, carcasonne and bordeaux all in two days! it was great...heath and rick enjoyed the wine, mckenzie and i enjoyed the ice cream. in bordeaux, they had a pavillion you could walk on with mist water spouts for locals to cool off...great idea in the city...maybe we'll put that one in the nyc suggestion box.
carcasonne is where they filmed the movie robin hood with kevin costner...enormous castle and city surrounded by stone walls. very touristy inside though...
normandy was great, however, we could not fulfill the jay borman tour. it was way too extensive for us! we did see omaha beach, point du hoc and the main cemetery.

that's pretty cool - i like that misting floor. Looks like Mac and Rick are having a great time. carry on.
I've never been to a real castle. Looks like one of the best I've seen!
