eat local

food, inc is truly a must see. parts of it are hard to watch, but necessary. so after seeing it last night, i'm even more inspired to grow my own vegetables, herbs and fruit and buy locally.

sarpy county fair

last night we went to the sarpy county fair...reminded me so much of the columbiana county fair in lisbon. however, no one had vinegar for the fries. seriously, nebraska?

we went on the slight chance that i might see some fainting goats in person. no luck, my search goes on. heath has promised that he will make sure i see one in this lifetime.

memories of last summer...

we spent the entire summer last year in europe...hard to imagine it's already been a year.

vegetarian potluck

the nebraska vegetarian society had a picnic potluck today...perfect weather, vegan sloppy joes and potato salad & CUPCAKES!!!
