Garden 2010

We planted our garden this year...roma tomatoes, ox heart tomatoes, green onions, yellow onions, red, green, yellow + hot banana peppers, cucumbers, broccoli, romaine lettuce, musk melons, watermelons & strawberries...

Birthday treats

My birthday gifts arrived today!!!  Thank you to my sweet husband for getting me two things that I have wanted for quite some time now...A beautiful bag made of vintage linen + Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol's Union Square!!!!!!!

Ely's to go

I spent all last week in Ohio helping my parents with their vegan restaurant.  Here are some of the yummy things we made...

My dad makes all of the scones...these are pineapple, strawberry + coconut.

They share their space with a bakery...here is some of the bread right before it went in the oven.

This is pho, a traditional Vietnamese soup.  Heath calls it 'massage in a bowl'.

These are Vietnamese sandwiches - soy chicken, marinated vegetables + lots of fresh herbs.

These sandwiches are vegan reubens with avocado.

Vegan mac + cheese with broccoli, asparagus and peas topped with focaccia croutons.
