we visited the area of france called 'luberon' last week while my parents were here on vacation. the towns were so beautiful and usually built on top of very large hills or mountains. the views were incredible. the bed and breakfast we stayed at was so magical...the area is where they filmed the movie 'a good year' and the setting for the book 'a year in provence'. it was so lovely that we will definitely take another trip to see it again.
we took my parents to the airport yesterday in barcelona and stopped by a beach on the way back...no sand, just pebbles and rocks...but the water looked incredible, as you can see. it was quite cold though, very refreshing since the temp was around 95.
